Bell Brothers on the job training program for HVAC technicians

Good Day Sacramento checks out our HVAC and Plumbing Training Facility

Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) training programs in California can be costly. At the end of your certification program, while you may have job placement assistance programs, it can be difficult to get hired on with a reputable company when you have little or no experience. Over the years we have found that some of our best employees have come from all different education backgrounds but had one thing in common, willingness to learn. While we appreciate n educated Plumber and HVAC technician just as much as the next company, we are willing to teach, train and invest in the right person.

Maybe that person is YOU.

EPA Certification

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has required that all persons handling refrigerants should be certified. If you are not certified you can’t legally buy refrigerants and service air conditioning systems. While the EPA test is open book, there is a cost to taking the test. Bell Brothers provides paid training in our fully functional HVAC  training facility so that technicians have book as well as hands on experience prior to taking the test. Furthermore, we pick up the cost of the first test for you.

Heat Exchanger Safety Certified

Among other training programs Bell Brothers offers through the year, we are most proud of our heat exchanger safety training. This is where we bring in a third party for a full day of furnace safety training. At the end of this training program each technician is tested on what they have learned and certified once completing the course.

HVAC Equipment Manufacturer Training

Through the year Bell Brothers partners with local HVAC equipment manufactures like Bryant, Ruud/Rheem, and Trane, and Homeywell to bring trainers to our facility or an off site location. The purpose of these training are to keep our technicians up to date on the latest technology, trends and equipment.

All of our HVAC training programs are paid, on the job training.
